Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective date: May 20, 2026

This page explains what 'sell' and 'share' mean under California law, confirms that Digital Family does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and gives you a way to submit a formal request and to limit the use of any sensitive personal information.

1. Our position

Digital Family does not sell personal information and does not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of any consumer under 16 years of age.

This page exists so that you can still submit a formal request and so that the opt-out link is available site-wide as required by California enforcement guidance.

2. What “sell” and “share” mean

  • Sell — selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring or otherwise communicating a consumer’s personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
  • Share — disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration. Common examples include sending pseudonymous identifiers to ad-tech networks for retargeting.

Disclosures to a service provider or contractor that processes data only on our behalf under a written contract (for example, our hosting provider) are not “sales” or “sharing”.

3. How to submit a request

Email info@digital-family.ai with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share request” and include:

  • The email address or other identifier you have used with us (so we can verify your identity).
  • A statement that you are exercising your right to opt out under the CCPA or your state’s privacy law.
  • Whether you are submitting the request for yourself or as an authorised agent on behalf of another person (in that case, attach the signed written authorisation).

We will confirm receipt as soon as feasible and act on your request within 15 business days as required by the CCPA. For other rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, appeal) please use the procedures in our Privacy Policy.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honour valid Global Privacy Control browser signals as a sale/sharing opt-out request for the browser sending it. If your browser sends GPC, you do not need to submit a separate request, although you are welcome to do so for your records.

5. Limit the use of sensitive personal information

Under the CPRA, California residents may direct businesses that use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the requested service to limit such use. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to limit; this confirmation is provided for transparency.

6. Non-discrimination

We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level or quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

7. Other US state residents

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, Nebraska, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island have similar opt-out rights against the sale of personal data or use for targeted advertising. Submit a request the same way; we will respond within your state’s required time frame.
